It appears my beautiful real apples dipped in silver wax have staying power. They were my first post holiday splurge and my florist warned me she had no idea how long they would stay round and firm.
Potentially they could shrivel up beneath the wax, but apparently not. I really, really like them and am hoping they will last if not eternally at least until next Christmas.
I'm off to the markets.
